The use of face packs dates back to early antiquity when clays and seaweeds were credited with almost miraculous healing powers. These preparations were applied to the face or body parts in the form of liquids or pastes and allowed to dry. The objective was improving the appearance of the skin by producing a transient tightening effect as well as deep cleansing of the skin. Benedetta’s non-clay, anti-wrinkle treatment is a combination blend of Spirulina, Lithothamnium Calcareum and Laminaria Digitata, which is mixed with Organic Lavender Hydrosol. Spirulina is rich in protein and B vitamins, leaving the skin soft and firm. Lithothamnium Calcareum is rich in calcium and magnesium. Laminaria Digitata has a high concentration of trace elements and mineral salts, making this blend not only rejuvenating but also detoxifying. Lavender Hydrosol is the by-product of the distillation process of essential oils. It is best known for its ability to regenerate skin tissue. Application: This Mask is made fresh at time of application. Blending 15 minutes prior to application will make for a creamier consistency.
